Boat Ramp
Our boat ramp is located in the fenced compound at the south foot of No. 2 Road (called Richmond Camp). Use of the boat ramp entails a charge of $10.00 per calendar day that the ramp is used (including GST). The charge is only for the days on which you actually use the ramp, and parking for one vehicle and one boat trailer is included while the vessel is in the water. For example, if you put your vessel in the water on a Monday and take it up the same day, the charge is $10.00 total since you only used the ramp on one day. If you put your vessel in the water on a Monday and take it up the following Thursday, the charge is $20.00 since you used the ramp on the Monday (to launch) and on the Thursday (to come up) - parking for one vehicle and one boat trailer is included while your vessel is out for up to one week. If you plan to be gone longer than one week, an extra parking charge for your vehicle and trailer will apply.
*NOTE - the gates to Richmond Camp and the boat ramp area are closed every night at approximately 10:00 PM. If you find the gates locked when you pull your vessel up the ramp, use the pay phone by the boat ramp office to call the on-duty SHA Operations staff at 604-272-5539 and press 1 at the prompt.
